Exploring the Candida Crusher Scam

I’m a woman who likes to explore alternative therapies. Some work, some don’t. Some are simply the victim of time. We live in a fast-paced world where everyone expects a quick solution. While I often try to stick to the most natural cures and remedies possible, even I will opt for a quick fix once in a while. A wife and mother simply has to function.

That said, over the years I’ve had dozens of conversations with other women about yeast. We all agree that the vaginal yeast infection is awful and some of us have found ways to minimize their occurrences. What most women don’t realize, however, is that the vaginal infection is just one type of yeast infection. It’s caused by the Candida albicans organism and can actually manifest in a wide variety of different ways, including toe or fingernail fungus, oral thrush, skin irritations, ringworm, and even jock itch. Some people develop systemic infections that mimic more concerning diseases ranging from depression to simple urinary tract infections. Some people even develop the dangerous leaky gut syndrome.

Are Candida Scams Common?

As we started to research more, we found that while yeast infections are relatively common, information regarding tried and true treatments is really hard to come by. There are several people who don’t even believe the Candida albicans organism, which exists naturally within your body the same way you’d find bacteria, is even real. I spent a while giggling at a blog post I found about a year ago in which a woman outright denies the existence of the organism. Perhaps she’s the single lucky woman on the planet who has never had a vaginal infection or bout with toenail fungus. I often find that the people who are screaming the loudest about Candida not being real are the ones who are trying to sell over the counter or chemical treatments for the symptoms we often associate with the chronic yeast condition.

And that’s the problem right there. These people are herding you away from the root cause so that they can convince you to spend money to cure not your root cause, by the underlying symptoms. That’s the type of vicious cycle that could never end.

Take, for example, some of these common (and not so common) signs that you might have a chronic yeast problem:

You show signs of food allergies; You are bloated or have frequent gas; You have indigestion, constipation, or diarrhea; You are tired, fatigued, depressed, or anxious; You feel foggy or have trouble concentrating; Your vision blurs or you feel like you’re seeing spots in your vision; You’re irritable, moody, nervous, or confused; You have a wide variety of gastrointestinal symptoms, including heartburn, hemorrhoids, peri-anal itching, mouth sores, or stomach problems; You have frequent kidney, bladder, or urinary tract infections; Your skin is itchy, dry, or red; You have a strong smelling odor from your skin, feet, or hair that deodorant doesn’t help; You have muscle aches and pains; or You bruise easily.

These are, sadly, just a handful of the symptoms you may experience that can be caused by a systemic Candida infection. The problem is that the moment you walk into a traditional doctor’s office and describe, for example, the distinct symptoms of a bladder infection, you’re likely to walk out the door with a script for antibiotics. Antibiotics will, unfortunately, give the yeast organism something to thrive off of, allowing more fungus to form in your body.

The Good News about Candida Crusher

My friends and I all purchased copies of the Candida Crusher book by Dr. Eric Bakker at the same time and you can get the book here if you’re interested in seeing it. We each had different symptoms but we all led similar lifestyles. Three of us tried the spit test and one reluctant friend decided to browbeat her doctor into doing the bloodwork to test for Candida. We all showed signs of infection.

The bad news? Following a strict Candida diet like the one outlined in the Candida Crusher book isn’t really easy. You’ll have cravings for foods you shouldn’t have and you’ll feel like your diet is really restricted. The good news is that the book lays everything out simply and makes it easy to follow. That, combined with the support of my friends, allowed me to follow the program for a good 4 months.

We all had our doubts when we started researching Candida. We even had our initial doubts about Candida Crusher. I, for one, am glad that’s the resource we chose to stick with. I’ve never felt better and my family is glad to have a more energized and enlightened wife and mother in the house. In this case, I can assure you, the quick-fix would have been the scam. Stay true to yourself and don’t try to rush the process. This plan works and if you follow it you’ll feel better before you know it!

Doing up the Bedroom Interiors

As the name suggests, a bedroom is a place meant for sleeping. It is a haven for relaxation, a restful and soothing place and our very own personal little space within our home, where we can be our true selves without any inhibitions. It is a room where we can simply relax and spend some quiet time alone. Unlike olden times, when bedrooms were actually used only for sleeping, today, we use them for a variety of other things like resting, studying, watching television, listening to music, chit chatting, eating our meals, etc., apart from sleeping. A bedroom essentially is made up on a bed and some other furniture. It is usually designed depending on who the room belongs to, as every bedroom is very special and unique to its occupants. While designing an ideal bedroom a thorough knowledge of its users tastes, preferences, needs, lifestyles, thoughts, ideas and background is very important.

Like every other room, a bedroom also has a focal point as this determines the placement of furniture. The focal point in a bedroom can be the bed, for obvious reasons, a television set, a beautiful view, a french window or anything else its user finds charming. Usually the bed is the focal point of any room as it is generally the biggest piece of furniture there and need maximum space. The kind of bed placed in a room is directly related to the number of its occupants. For example, if a room belongs to an individual, a single bed would suffice, whereas, if its being shared, a double bed – regular, queen size or king size would be needed. After placing the bed, other furniture like the cupboards, dressing table, chairs, tables etc. can be arranged. The rest of the furniture being placed in a bedroom depends on the requirement of the rooms user. For instance, if the room belongs to a school or college going student, a study table should definitely be a part of the room, whereas, if it belongs to an elderly person or couple, comfortable chairs or rocking chairs, are a good option. Storage needs also determine the kind and size of a rooms furniture. Once the furniture has been arranged, the left over space can be accordingly planned for optimal utilization.

The color also plays an extremely important role in doing up the interiors of a bedroom as they define its underlying beauty. The color of the walls should always be the perfect background for the furniture and upholstery of the room. While it has obviously been a matter of personal choice, colors can be selected keeping in mind the age, gender and general liking on the person. For example, if the room is about a little girl, pink is a good option, whereas, if its about a little boy, blue is generally a common choice. In case of teenage children, bright colors like red, yellow, orange, green, purple etc. are most famous, whereas, for adults, generally soft and gentle colors like ivory, beige, off white etc. are popularly used.

Curtains are one of the most amazing things one can use to transform the look of any room. They are like the rooms makeover specialist and can make a room go from dull, boring, simple and ordinary to attractive, classy, stylish and modern. They are available in unlimited colors, designs and fabrics in the market to suit every buyers requirements and tastes. However, the kind of curtains we put up in a bedroom entirely depends on the mood we want to create. While curtains in simple patterns are a good choice for an elderly persons bedroom, cartoon character curtains are a must have in a kid’s room. Also light and flowing fabrics are very good for summers as they create an airy sort of feel, whereas, dark and heavy ones are ideal for winters as they keep a place warm and cozy.

History Of Fashion Acient Greek Fashion Accessories

This is the second part of the article on ancient Greek dress

Jewelry
Ancient Greeks had an affinity for earrings, bracelets, necklaces, brooches, and rings, made of metal and semiprecious stones. Precious metals were also used, but gold became popular only in the 6th century BC.

Jewelry evolved over time. During the Archaic period, jewelry pieces were simple and mainly functional. Such were the pins or brooches used to fasten the himation or the chiton, or the seal rings used to seal letters and important documents. By Hellenistic times goldsmiths had mastered their craft and jewelry featured an exquisite design and composition.

Footwear
The sandals were the common footwear for both men and women. The Greek sandal featured several straps, which stretched between the toes to the ankle in various fashions. They were minimal, light, and left the foot almost bare. Although high heels are considered to be a 16thcentury invention, already in ancient Greece women tried to make themselves taller by attaching cork sole to the leather sole. For travel or warfare, men wore fitted shoes – ankle-high or mid-calf length -and boots that either laced up or stayed on the foot with the help of a criss-cross thong at the toe.

Hats and head-dresses
Headgear came in different shapes and styles. There were several variations of a cone-shaped hat. The bonnet was another known style. The pilos was a brimless skull cap made from felt or wool. Women wore scarves, wrapped around the head. The saccus featured a tassel at the back as well as nets or snoods to hold the hair back. The petasos was made of woven straw. It featured a brim that could be turned up or down, and could also be fastened at the neck by a ribbon.

Hair styles
Hair styles for men and women were initially similar. In the early ages men wore their hair fussy with curls forming a crown around the forehead or braids wound around the head. But styles eventually were simplified and long hair became acceptable only for the elderly male, young men or boys.

Hair styles were known by names: the kepos was unkempt, the Hectorean style involved cutting and combing the hair backward into curls, and the Theseid featured strands of hair worn short at the forehead while the rest hung down longer at the back of the neck.

Young girls let their hair fall freely. Older women wore their hair long and let it fall loose over the shoulders. They could also wear their hair parted in the middle, waved, and scraped back so as to expose the ears. Sometimes, three or four strands, or spiral curls, were sectioned from the rest of the hair and styled so they hung down over the forehead while the rest of the hair hung down loosely at the back. Bands, ribbons, diadems, or strings of pearls added sophistication to hairdos.

Beauty and grooming
Make-up was used by most women. It consisted in applying a white base color to the face, rouge to the cheekbones, and painting one’s lips. The base color was often made of lead, which could have fatal consequences, while the rouge was made from vermilion or vegetables. Women would also use eye make-up, which involved Egyptian kohl and shadows in different colors. Eyebrows were groomed and, painted black.

Perfumes were very popular, especially the essences of violet, mint, myrrh, marjoram, and thyme. The Greeks often applied different scents to different body areas.

Women conditioned their skin on a daily basis, used depilatories to remove body hair, and used different concoctions on both their face and body.

Good physical shape was important for both sexes, although only men were allowed in the palestra – a complex devoted to exercise.
